The Pulling Power of The Skirt

Ladies, do you really think that we single guys prefer you in trousers or jeans? Do you honestly believe that if you just throw on a pair of pants or jeans, and T-shirt - or, in other words, just dress down and scruffy - you will catch the eye of a bloke in a pub or a club?
Well, as a single guy who prefers his women to dress smart and feminine - like a real woman should - let me disabuse you of that notion right away.
It is an undeniable fact that most single men seeking the girl of their dreams prefer their women to be dressed smart and feminine, and that means not dressing up like a man, in scruffy trousers, T-shirt and trainers, but in a nice pencil skirt, with either a crisp blouse or neat jacket to match. Nothing is guaranteed to turn a guy's head more than seeing the palatable sight of an attractive lady dressed in a nice pencil skirt, high heels and maybe tights or stockings (bare legs NEVER look anywhere near as good as nylon-clad ones - fact). Since time immemorial, men have always liked their women to look like women. Period. Think Marilyn Munroe. Think Betty Grable. Think Rita Hayworth.
And if you wanted to cite more contemporary style icons, Kate Middleton is a perfect example of how a woman should dress, as she is always immaculately attired with her impressive wardrobe of smart skirt suits, beautiful dresses and heels.
It is a sad fact that in recent years, many females have shunned the traditional form of female attire and have opted to wear trousers, T-shirts and trainers. This dress sense is, in the minds of most men who long for a return of the femininely attired lady that was so common in the 40's, 50's and 60's, very unattractive, and rather than get our pulses racing with desire and an almost irrepressible urge to walk up to you and say hello, it just conveys a very ordinary, drab and uninviting impression.
One time, most women would really get dressed up for a night out; nowadays, though, most of them just can't seem to be bothered making an effort to dress up nice when they hit the town. All you seem to see our trousers, trousers, and yet more trousers. What has happened to all the skirts?
I think a lot of the blame for such poor feminine dress sense can be attributed to some of these fashion houses, who only seem to be interested in promoting scruffy, drab - and totally unfeminine - styles. Such ideals, depressingly, do nothing whatsoever to revive any interest in reverting back to the proper feminine dress styles all men would love to see.
Whenever you see a nice, smartly dressed woman in the street - sadly, a rare sight these days - it is always a treat. Despite the drab fashion era I have just referred to, there are - thankfully - still many women who know how to dress right and proper, and regularly wear skirts instead of trousers, high heels instead of trainers. More power to them.
